Tianjin International Cruise Home Port is the major port (only few cruise ships call at old Xingang port) for International Cruise Liners. Cruise ships usually mark it as Beijing in their itinerary, but Beijing is actually 175KM from the port, about 2-3 hours drive.

There are several transportation modes between Beijing and Tianjin Cruise Port:
1. Train
Route 1: Beijing South Railway Station (北京南站） – Tanggu Railway Station high-speed train （塘沽站）, 5 trains each day, After the train take a taxi to the cruise port.
Journey Time: 1 hour train and 45 minutes taxi
Cost: 11 dollar for second class train and 10 dollars for a taxi
Route 2: Beijing South Railway Station (北京南站）- Tianjin Railway Station (天津站）, train available every 20 minutes. Then take a taxi to the port.
Journey Time: 35 minutes train and 80 minutes taxi
Cost: 9 dollar for second class train and 30 dollars for a taxi
2. Airport Shuttle Bus
If you travel directly from airport to cruise port. you may take the airport shuttle bus. The shuttle stops at Tianjin Binhai Bus Station (滨海客运总站). Then take a taxi to the Tianjin Cruise Port (34 km and 50-minute with cost USD15).

3. Taxi
It usually costs RMB800 to take a taxi. You need to make sure the taxi driver take the highway. Some may not go the highway and spends about 4 hours on road. The taxi driver may charge extra money for bad traffic.
